Our story is a unique story. A story with high peaks, and deep valleys. The road to where we are today was certainly rocky. And we are rather proud of that. No-one ever achieved anything by doing nothing. Plain sailing day after day, does not make you stronger. Your true mentality only comes to the surface when you must go to extremes at times. Rob and Lenie De Bruyn couldn’t live with this. The family feeling took hold. In the event of bankruptcy, many employees would be made redundant. Workers with families. Despite the sale of the company, they couldn’t live with the idea that everything they had built up would suddenly be gone. They decided to buy back the company. The ambition to make De Bruyn Metaal successful again was reinforced by the purchase of a CNC roller. De Bruyn Metaal was soon back on track…

Jelle van Borrenbergen is accepted as the right hand of Jan Brugmans. The workforce is growing. One manager simply turned out to be insufficient. Lean Management was introduced. Together with Mula advertising agency we are working on a communication strategy that leads to a new positioning and complete rebranding. At the same time, the factory is renovated, the company obtains the ISO 3834 certificate and the old lorry is exchanged for a new one.

With just under 1,000 visitors, the open day was a great success, and the evening party was a special finale!
